Russian businessman Roman Abramovich bought the most expensive Villa in the suburbs of tel Aviv, in the exclusive coastal area of Herzliya Pituah, announced on 1 June, the Israeli newspaper Globes.
As it turned edition, Villa Abramovich cost of 226 million shekels (about $64.7 million).
In 2019 Abramovich rented the Villa with the right of redemption. The transaction was concluded in January 2020.
The area of the estate is 9.5 thousand m2. The site contains two houses: the main building area of 2 thousand m2 and a guest house smaller, with an area of 1 thousand m2as well as a tennis court and a swimming pool with hydraulic bottom.
The Villa previously belonged to the British billionaire Alan Howard, who acquired it in 2006 for $9 million, but invested in improving the estate, in particular, expanded its area.
According to Globes, this is the third property of Abramovich in Israel. In 2015 he bought for $29,9 million plot of land with the hotel in tel Aviv, and in 2019 – a high-rise building in tel Aviv for $57.5 million (according to Calcalist, the businessman plans to convert it into a hotel).
Russian Forbes estimates the state of Abramovich in $11.3 billion and He occupies the 10th place in the list of the richest Russians.
