A pause in the championship of Belarus extended till April 20

A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Belarusian volleyball Federation (BFV), which adopted the decision to extend the pause in the championship of the country until April 20. We will remind, earlier the Executive Committee of the BFV has suspended all volleyball competitions until April 6.

Pre-Federation clubs interviewed on the subject of the continuation of the championship, and also learned the opinion of the higher structures (NOC, Ministry of sport and tourism, etc.). In the end, in connection with negative dynamics of distribution СOVID-19 in Belarus, the Executive Committee decided BFV:

– extend the pause in the championship of the Republic of Belarus (division A) men’s and women’s teams to 20 April;
– complete the championship of the Republic of Belarus in volleyball (division B) among male and female teams, to allocate space according to the current standings;
– complete youth volleyball League “the ball over the net”, to allocate space according to the current standings.
Note also that the decision on the conclusion of the championship in division B is influenced by the fact that the tournament involves a large number of minors.

Thus, the final decision for the division And will be taken at the meeting of the Executive Committee of BFV April 20.
