2. Know Your Neighborhood

This is the step that trips up a lot of people. Who are the neighbors? What are they going to think about me coming to talk to them about politics?

Tip: Arm yourself with the basic information:

  • Local deadline to register to vote
  • Where will you and your neighbors need to show up to vote?
  • Who is your precinct captain?
